and whenever good fortune comes to him, he selfishly withholds it [from others]
And, when good befalleth him, grudging
And niggardly when good reaches him;
and withholding when touched with good—
but tight-fisted when good fortune comes his way,
and whenever good fortune comes to him, he grows niggardly
And niggardly when good befalls hi
And when the good afflicted him, begrudging.
and withdraws when some good touches him;
but when good (fortune) touches them, they are stingy
and when good befalls him, begrudging
And when Al-Khair (good) touched him, (he is one) who hesitates (himself) and also stops others (from spending it in a desirable way) —
but when blessed with good fortune, he becomes stingy
Touched by good, he is ungenerous
And when charity touches him, (he is) a constant preventer of it
but when they are fortunate, they become niggardl
and very niggard when visited by good (fortune)
And niggardly when good reaches him
And acts niggardly when he encounters good fortune
And miserly when good reaches him—
And when good touches him, withholding [of it]
And when good touches him he is stingy
but tight-fisted when good fortune comes his way
And when good toucheth him he is begrudging
If good comes to him he holds back his hand
begrudging when good things come
And niggardly when good visits him
and grudging when good comes his wa
And niggardly when good befalls hi
and miserly (and stingy) when the goodness touches him
And arrogant when good reaches him
and when good fortune befalls them, they are selfish;
and tight-fisted when good fortune visits him
And when good touches him he is stingy
And when prosperity touches him, he is begrudging
And when good reaches him, he withheld,
If blessed by wealth, stingy.
but when good comes upon him, he is grudgin
And niggardly when good befalls him -
And if the goodness touched him, (he is) often preventing/prohibiting
and when God makes the man wealthy [instead of showing his gratefulness by becoming generous], he becomes stingy
And refraining, when good reaches him
But when good falls to his lot, he is niggardly
But becomes miserly when he receives good fortune (or affluence)
But is niggardly when good falls to his lot
And niggardly when good touches him;
when good visits him, grudging
but when good befalleth him, he becometh niggardly
when good touches him, niggardly
But when good falleth to his lot, tenacious
but, blessed with good fortune, he grows niggardly
[He/she is] stingy when fortune reaches him/her.
and withdraws when some good touches him;
But when good touches him, he is stingy and selfish!
and when good (even) touches him (he) is niggardly
But if he has the luck and heaven prospers him, then he is niggardly, unwilling to give or spend in divine service and he says to his money "my god art thou"
